Starting again

I sit at my wheel hands slick with the clay and water smoothly circling around as the clay on the wheel starts to form in the familiar pattern and with the rhythm of creation I've experienced hundreds of times before. It is the same and yet each time it is totally new. There is a moment when I wonder will it make it off the wheel? Then it is removed and I start again, fresh  and new dancing in rhythm, balance, memory and faith sweetly coxing a new co-created earthly treasure. My new pot.
It could be said for my life as well. Each time I start again fresh with the promise to dance a new rhythm, balance my life, and remember that I am sweetly coaxing a new experience from my life. Each pot I make has the history of it's creation wrapped up in it's form and function. Each  new experience in my life brings me the opportunity express love here on earth. For today that is enough. Tomorrow I will start again.
