The Full Story

A Peek Inside the Studio

Step inside Mudworks Pottery, where creativity hums quietly in the air and every corner tells a story. Sunlight filters through wide windows, glinting off rows of freshly thrown pots and well-loved tools. Shelves are lined with bisque pieces waiting for glaze, jars of brushes, and bits of nature...feathers, driftwood, and dried blooms...all finding their way into the work somehow.

This is where the rhythm of the wheel meets the warmth of community. Some days are filled with laughter and chatter during a class, clay-covered hands shaping their first bowls. Other days are quiet and meditative, just the sound of the wheel turning and the kiln ticking softly in the background.

Every pot that comes to life here carries a bit of that atmosphere, the slow process, the small surprises, and the simple joy of creating something lasting with your hands.

Visitors are always welcome to stop by, peek into the process, and explore the on-site gallery featuring finished works fresh from the kiln.

Come see where the magic (and a bit of mud) happens! Mudworks Pottery, Temple, New Hampshire.

Wheels and Things

Welcome to, a cozy home studio where creativity and community take shape in clay. Here, sunlight spills across the wheels, shelves brim with works in progress, and there’s always room for laughter and learning. My mission is to share the joy of making, to offer a space where hands, heart, and earth come together. Whether you’re new to clay or already in love with it, Mudworks Pottery invites you to slow down, explore, and find the quiet satisfaction of creating something beautiful from the ground up.

Made by hand, guided by joy

Creating with Joy

Every piece begins with a spark of curiosity and the simple joy of working with clay. This studio is a place of exploration,  where hands follow imagination, mistakes turn into new ideas, and the process is as meaningful as the finished work. Surrounded by nature and the rhythm of the seasons, I create pottery that celebrates the beauty in imperfection and the quiet pleasure of making. Whether shaping a bowl, tending the kiln, or gathering materials from the woods, my work is guided by a love of craft, connection, and the joy of creation itself.
